Thanks everyone for coming to the meeting tonight. If you have not been to CoRK yet, here is a great opportunity to go check it out Saturday. It is the kick-off of the Cage-fest. Other events are listed below as well for the rest of the fest.

Cage Fest:

Saturday, March 24: John Cage Festival Opening Event, “Circus of Happening: A Chance-Determined Series of Arranged Convergence (for John Cage),” with performances by numerous local and regional artists, at the CoRK Arts District, 2689 Rosselle St., Jacksonville, FL: 2:00 PM to midnight.

Tuesday, March 27: Sound Artist Jaap Blonk (Holland), at MOCA-Jacksonville, 133 N. Laura St., Jacksonville, FL. 7:30 PM. <http://www.jaapblonk.com/> In addition, a rare selection of Jaap Blonk’s original scores for voice will be exhibited at UNF’s Thomas G. Carpenter Library, from March 19 - April 30.

Wednesday, March 28: Violinist Tom Chiu (New York), founder of the esteemed FLUX Quartet, presents a program of rarely heard works for solo stringed instrument. His program includes selections from Freeman Etudes (1977-90), 26' 1.1499" for solo string instrument (1953-55), and Cheap Imitations (1969/1977), at the J.
